SCSEPH is a professional society for mental health professionals. It was designed to promote the clinical perspectives and philosophies of Milton H. Erickson, M.D., to continue his work in developing clinical interventions, and to act as an educational catalyst from which professionals could expand their knowledge in the local, national and international areas of systemic and individual psychotherapy.

Over the years, SCSEPH has become known for its archive of training and educational materials featuring not only Dr. Erickson himself, but also many other innovators in the fields of hypnosis and psychotherapy. These materials are now available for purchase online by members of the therapeutic community, providing the opportunity to learn from the masters directly.
